Wheels and Tyres - 1975 Midget 1500

I am upgrading my Midget 1500 and want to fit 5.5 x 14J Minator wheels with 165/65/14 Yokohama A-Drive tyres. Does anyone know whether these will fit straight on or will there be clearance issues?

Don't know what effect the 14" rims will have but would expect the 5.5" width to cause a problem with clearance of the square arches.

You may need to remove some metal!

I have just had some corro with some K series midget types. Sounds like I should be OK but may have to push the arch out some - 5 or 10 mm. They have 175s fitted in some cases.
